The 2005 race took place from June 25 - July 9, starting in Washington, DC, and ending in Tacoma, Washington. Drivers and navigators will follow a challenging cross-country route mapped out by John Classen, Great Race Director of Competition, while competing in a time-speed-distance race in vintage cars that are at least 45 years old.
